1. What Universal Player is

Universal Player is media player software. It plays content from sources you add yourself, such as M3U playlists, Xtream-compatible accounts and XMLTV guides.

Universal Player does not:

• include, host, sell or distribute TV channels, movies, series, playlists or other content;
• sell or resell subscriptions or provider accounts;
• list, recommend or endorse providers or sources;
• relay, proxy, record or store the streams you watch.

2. Your sources and your responsibility

You decide which sources you add. Only add sources you are authorised to access, and only watch content you have the right to watch. You are responsible for the sources you add and for complying with the laws and the terms of your provider that apply to them.

We have no relationship with your provider and no control over its service. Questions about a subscription, account, channel line-up, availability or content belong with your provider.

3. Availability of third-party services

What you can watch depends on your sources. A provider may change, limit, interrupt or end its service, refuse a stream or change its data, and the app can only show what a source supplies. Features such as the programme guide, catch-up, movies and series appear only when your source provides the necessary information.

4. Devices, formats and codecs

Universal Player uses the playback capabilities of your device. Whether a stream plays, and in what quality, depends on the stream's format and codecs, on your device's decoders and on your network connection. The devices page lists the platforms the app is built for.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Universal Player to infringe the rights of others, to access sources without authorisation, or to interfere with the app, this website or other people's systems. Do not reverse engineer the app except as far as the law allows.

6. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the terms of the store you obtained it from. Universal Player, its name, logo and design remain ours.

7. Updates and changes

We may update the app to fix problems, improve security or add features, and we may change these terms. We will publish changes here with a new date. Where the law requires it, we will tell you about significant changes in advance.

8. Liability

We build Universal Player with care, but software can contain errors and we cannot guarantee that the app will always work without interruption on every device or with every source. We are not responsible for the content, availability or lawfulness of third-party sources.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights where digital content or a digital service is not in conformity with the contract.
